What this site stores

Nothing on your device. This site sets no cookies of its own, uses no browser storage, and has no accounts, no comments and no forms to submit. The two calculators run entirely in your browser and keep their state only until you leave the page.

Server logs

The host that serves these pages keeps ordinary access logs, which typically include an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested and a user agent string. Those logs exist to keep the site running and to diagnose faults, and they are not used to build a profile of anyone.

Links away from here

Affiliate links carry a tag that tells Amazon the visit came from this site. Once you follow one, you are on Amazon and their privacy practices apply rather than these. The same is true of links to agencies, regulations and certification programs, which carry no tag and earn nothing.

Images

Product images are served from Amazon media servers, so loading a gear page makes a request to that host. No other external host is contacted by any page on this site.
